We've been ordering our Friday night pizza at Enzo's for years and it's consistently GREAT! I'd say their pizza is in the top 3 in Bonita. Once in a while we'll order dishes like linguini w/ clam sauce, chicken parm or other pasta dishes and we've never been disappointed. Recommended from a local Bonitian. :)

$30 for a pizza pie... ugghh That is insane, unless they're making the pie in pizza and shipping it over here on an airplane right when you buy it

I'm completely biased with this place as I've been coming here for close to 25 years and it has remained great and possibly getting even better with age. It's grown from a simple pizzeria to multiple dining rooms and a changing menu (I miss stuffed peppers). it's really amazing how good of cook the owner is. He keeps it simple, but it's fresh and delicious. I would honestly stack them up against any of the best italian I've ever had. The pizza is probably still the best thing on the menu. Everything is good. Might go elsewhere for dessert. Service can be slow at times, but thats true of everyplace down there. Carry out is a great option.

Me and my family have been going to this place for a very long time. We own a condo down in Fort Myers and come every year, Enzo's happens to be a stop we always make. My father comes from a hard Italian family, we make our own homemade cannoli shells and pasta sauce, it's tradition. I have to say that this place never lets us down. To start, the service. I would consider the service here good, they aren't pushy, they are polite, and give a very homey atmosphere. Overall, it just feels genuine, they are nice, helpful, hardworking waiters who don't shove your meal down your throat. As for the restaurant itself, the atmosphere is very authentic, dim lit lights, full bar, and nice decorations give off a very friendly feeling, the whole place is just... Nice. Now onto the real reason you come, the food. I wouldn't exactly say that the food here is the best I've ever had and the Veal Parmigiana was a bit chewy which is why I give it a four, but it isn't dog shit either. I had a house salad and I had no complaints, fresh greens, crunchy and colorful which is all I ask. Then the meal came out, the sauce and cheese tasted authentic and delicious, however, as I said, the veal itself was a bit chewy and I had to chew on it for a bit before I could get it to go down. Besides that the food was good. I could tell their pasta wasn't homemade, but it wasn't soggy so it was fine and I enjoyed it. the dessert I had was chocolate mousse and it was very rich so no complaints there. The food is very good If you were looking to come to an Italian place, I would definitely give this place a chance, it's actually really good and I always enjoy going, I don't feel rushed and it is always a good meal. Just trust this review and give it a shot.

Definitely not worth the price. Neither the food nor the service were acceptable. Ordered glass of wine that never came; reordered and was charged for two glasses. Bill was corrected. Will not go there again.

Dont think so. It was busy when we walked in, so we were excited to get a seat. We had come here several years ago, and like it. Got the menu and almost passed out at the prices. Got 2 medium pizzas, small antipasto salad, and a couple of drinks and the bill was almost $100. Hey, I know you plan to get soaked a bit in a tourist area, but this was a bit much. Pizza was ok, service ok, but a bit plastic and "take a number" for my taste. Nest time I will Yelp and go to the cheaper restaurants with more stars and less dollar signs and have a great time!

Stay away tonight! They have a very limited and very expensive - overpriced - menu. Sorely disappointed.

Been here twice over the last few months and both times have been great. The atmosphere could use a little updating, but the food and service are good and that is what matters most! Love the complimentary focaccia bread and dipping oil. The pasta dishes we've tried have been very good and one of our guests tried the grouper tonight and loved it. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey, but in comparison to other Italian restaurants in the area the prices are all about the same. Will definitely be back!

Food was good but too expensive for what you get. Kids food is way over priced. 2 chicken tenders for $11. ouch!

Good restaurant!!!! Family friendly, good prices, great food. However service was sufficient but lacked a little attention. No one offered to refill drinks. We had to signal the waitress to get more drinks from the bar. Although the restaurant was mainly empty at around 7pm. Service was very slow.

We had a large party of 11. The service was very slow. They also charged alot for hard liquor. Pizza was good but it will be a wile before we go back there.

What a surprise! Came here last minute and wow are we glad we did. Not trendy, not hip but the food and service were fabulous. Started with garlic knots Mmmm. Salads were way way overdressed--ask for dressing on side. Chicken Francese was PERFECTION...never better. Attentive service. Can't wait to return

I had high hopes for this little Italian place. It's been here forever, so it must be good right? I was wrong, the appetizers really started the meal off on the wrong foot. The bruscetta was covered in melted cheese and the beef carpaccio was so thick it was like eating funky deli meat. The cesar salad was also covered in cheese and was drowning in dressing. The redeeming portion of the meal was the croutons, the mussels, and the butternut squash ravioli. The mussels and the marinara were excellent and are worth coming back for. The ravioli was good (although I don't understand the corn garnish, but just pushed it aside). If we come back, it will be for entrees only.

We were hoping this place would be good since it's in walking distance for us. Service was friendly. To start off my wife's knife was rusty. Then came the bread and oil. huge plate of oil with sundries tomatoes. The bread just reminded me of a thick crust pizza chopped up. So then came my $27 supreme pizza.. It honestly reminded me of digorno's pizza that you make at home. My wife got the purple potato gnocchi with butternut squash sauce. She said the sauce was good but the gnocchi was gray, dry, gritty, just not good. So that's it for the food. We sat at the bar which is a nice bar and looks newly remodeled. I don't know why they would put all that money into a nice bar yet with all the 1980's chairs in the rest of the place makes it look like a nursing home. So the 2 stars is for the bar. The restroom was clean and nice. Overall The food was equivalent to and average food court at the mall Italian..

Pretty good stuff. A bit pricey.

The food was average to below average. In conjunction with the food being average our server was completely below average. A mere request for some additional items on a salad did not settle well with our server. It was an automatic refusal without asking the chef while rolling her eyes at me in disgust. She however took a special order request for my brothers with no attitude. Waitress needs to learn how deal with people. I will not be going back to that restaurant ever again.

The food was good - try the Cannelloni Fiorentina. It wasn't spectacular, but it was definitely tasty and the pricing isn't too bad - maybe a bit high. The service could use some work. Our waitress was occasionally rude and often awkward; and considering we were one of two parties in the whole restaurant, we didn't get much attention. We'll probably try another Italian place next time.

The fish was fresh but we ordered 2 branzino and one was much larger than the other. Who gets the big one for the same price? Service was slow.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
